Orientation: Introduction to the PYP/MYP

Introduction to the PYP/MYP is a one-day introductory workshop designed for educators who wish to learn more about the IB program, and who have yet to work at an IB school. A morning overview of the IB at all program levels will be followed by afternoon breakout sessions specific to either the PYP or MYP.

• The philosophy, structure and purposes of IB programs.
• The financial obligations of IB authorization.
• The educational advantages of IB programs.
• The IBO application and authorization processes.
• The service to be expected from IBO and IBNA.
• The processes employed in working with IBO and IBNA
