MYP Level 1 Workshops

Level 1 workshops provide training and assistance for educators working in schools that have decided to apply for IB authorization, or who are newly hired by schools offering the IB program. For Middle Years school educators, Level 1 covers Part B of the school application process.

Goals and objectives of Level 1 Workshops:

• To provide accurate information to schools planning application to the IB.
• To increase the ease of application and authorization.
• To enable schools and teachers to be successful in early years of IB implementation.

Participants will:

• Become familiar with successful application procedures and highly successful applications.
• Create initial drafts of their own applications (all programs) and course designs/outlines (Middle Years Program).
• Be able to begin implementation upon returning to school from this workshop.
